• The name could be a reference to the slang term for a Spike Strip used by police forces around the world, or Sting, who is the lead singer and bassist of the band The Police (hence the name Police Stinger).
• The Police Stinger, as any police vehicle, features the police dispatch. However, being it in multiplayer, has a fully functioning radio, similar to that of civilian cars. By turning off the radio, one will heard the police dispatch.
• If the window is broken or the car is damaged while locked with another vehicle, the car’s alarm will play the sound of a regular Presidente, but once inside, it will use the police horn. It only happens if the alarm is using the horn. Otherwise, there is no difference at all.

While a fair bit slower than other muscle cars, the Virgo does not produce understeer when tackling sharp corners and can be easily recovered when it begins to drift. The same heavy steel construction that slows it down gives it excellent durability, and the braking power is good for an old, heavy muscle car. The engine sticks true to its stated configuration, sporting a V8 engine coupled to a 5-speed gearbox in a front engine, rear wheel drive configuration. Said website also claims it has rather low acceleration — 0-60 mph in 9.9 seconds, and a top speed of 125 mph. The Police Stinger’s performance is exceptional, and it is one of the fastest land vehicles in the HD Universe. Despite having the same supercharged V10 badging as the Korean Mob Presidente variant, it has a noticeably different, smoother and lighter engine note, comparable to that of the civilian Buffalo.

It has one of the highest top speeds in the game, and its acceleration is exceptional thanks to its AWD drivetrain (20%-80% front-rear torque distribution). In fact, its all-wheel drive system is so good, as the vehicle outperforms other off-road intended vehicles, providing the driver with traction on all types of roads, including damp weather conditions. On the handling front, the Police Stinger is highly responsive, yet handling tends to get twitchy and may suffer from oversteer, due to the high speed it can reach. The vehicle at times could flip over on curbs due to not having enough down force. The vehicle can be easily driven even after tires are punctured, if its not damaged, making it a good escape vehicle to escape from somebody who is shooting at the player.

However, despite its nature as a very fast vehicle, other vehicles, particularly the Coquette, can match the speed of the Police Stinger on a straight drag race, like in the airport or Star Junction, but after all, the Police Stinger can surpass these vehicle over time, as the vehicle can reach its top speed quickly.

The Stinger GT, being a grand tourer, is a good performing car for its class. The in-game engine model shows a single overhead camshaft V8 engine, with 4 double barreled-downdraft carburetors. Unlike the standard Stinger, the Stinger GT has its engine mounted in a rear-mid longitudinal position, whereas the Stinger has the engine placed in front-mid position.

The car also features two side-rear mounted radiators, which strangely share the same model as the intercoolers featured on the Cheetah, Turismo R, Osiris and T20, however, intercoolers are typically only used on turbocharged vehicles, which the Stinger GT is not, leaving the only possibility of them being rear-placed engine radiators.

Despite Legendary Motorsport stating the Stinger GT has better performance than the standard Stinger, in-game testing has shown that there is no significant difference between the two, which leaves the player at the option of the player’s preferable body style of convertible or coupe within the Stinger range.

Its apparent 320HP 3 liter engine pushes it to a stated top speed of 175 mph (according to Legendary Motorsport), with a stated acceleration time of 5.7 seconds. The vehicle’s engine sound appears to be shared with the regular Stinger, both being the same as the Seashark sound. Traction is impressive, thanks to the rear-engine, rear wheel drive layout, which sends power directly to the wheels the engine is located upon. Recapping, the Stinger GT has a good top speed, and impressive acceleration. Handling is responsive and reliable, however, braking distance is bad.
