- Male and Female versions of Playa and NPCs use different stances.
- Male NPCs holding no weapons will stand up straight and have a casual walking style. Unless they hold a handgun sized firearm and stand still, they will always hold firearms with both hands and only hipfire weapons that intentionally fire from the hip only.
- Female NPCs holding no weapons (or the RPG) will not stand up as straight as a Male NPC and sways slightly when walking. Unlike Male NPCs, Female NPCs will not always aim down the sights of their weapons, such as the Heavy SMG, Automatic Rifle, or Pump-Action Shotgun, but this does not reduce the accuracy of their weapons. These weapons are also held with the barrel facing up when standing still or walking, and they do not hold the vertical grip until they start running. The only weapons they aim down the sight is the handgun-size firearms and the RPG.
- Male versions of Playa will use the same stances as Male NPCs, but will regularly hold two-handed weapons by their side when standing still, unless the weapon is too large/heavy (such as the Abduction Gun or the Sniper Rifle), and handgun size firearms are always held with one hand until they aim down the gun’s sight.
- Female versions of Playa use a mix of animations from the Male and Female stances, with some modified. Female Characters will use the sights if present on the gun, hold the lighter, two-handed weapons by the pistol grip when standing still (but pointed more vertical and resting on their shoulder) hold heavy, two-handed weapons like a Male Character if standing still, with lighter, two-handed weapons being held by the pistol grip and vertical grip when walking.
- Playa and NPCs (regardless of gender) will hold weapons that are fired from the hip (such as the Semi-Auto Shotgun and Thumpgun) lower than other two-handed weapons and always hold the weapon with both hands.
- Cyrus Temple uses a unique unarmed and armed stance. When unarmed, he stands stationary like a normal male NPC, but he has his right arm bent slightly as if he’s holding his hip. With two-handed weapons (like his default Automatic Rifle), Cyrus has the barrel of his gun pointed to the side more rather than forward like other NPCs, holding the gun much closer to his chest overall.
- When NPCs or Playa is inside a vehicle that allows drive-bys, the character will always aim down the sights of the weapon, even if it has no sights and is normally fired from the hip.

радикальному способу решения проблемы: запускаете Saints Row 4 (IV) и при появлении
чёрного экрана нажимаете сочетание клавиш «Alt+Enter», чтобы игра переключилась на
оконный режим. Так, возможно, откроется главное меню игры и удастся определить
проблема в игре или нет. Если удалось перейти в оконный режим, тогда переходите в
игровые настройки Saints Row 4 (IV) и меняйте разрешение (часто получается так, что

During development on Saints Row IV, Volition, Inc. targeted mission structure as a key area for improvement. Speaking to Polygon, they explained that players’ use of the cellphone to retrieve missions in Saints Row: The Third felt disconnected from the game’s narrative.
Design Director Scott Phillips said that Saints Row IV’s missions have been changed to «more of a quest log structure» and that the missions «are more organized». Phillips believes that it’s «just a better structure to pull people through the game».
The plot is divided into Quests.
- Each Quest may have multiple objectives.
- Each Objective may have multiple requirements.
- Objectives may be Missions or Activities.
- Missions and Activities have standard completion screens which show the mission title, while other Objectives and Quest completion messages appear on-screen during gameplay.
- Quest names are shown in the Cellphone, and the Save and Load screens.
- Mission names are shown on the mission completed and failed screens.
Side Quests become available after some missions. Side Quest Objectives consist of Activities, Diversions, Challenges or simply using a store.

Игровая механика теперь еще более «фантастична»: персонаж получает суперспособности и может бросать огненные шары, поднимать предметы в воздух, двигаться со сверхзвуковой скоростью и бить с силой носорога. Арсенал оружия в игре стал больше, но вряд ли игрокам захочется постоянно покупать патроны к оружию, имея такие силы. Особенности Saints Row 4
- Визуализация. По качеству картинка не сильно отличается от прошлой части серии. Более того, игроки которые прошли Saints Raw: Third, не потеряются в знакомом Стилпорте, который вместо фиолетовых тонов, теперь окрашен в красные. Стоит подчеркнуть, что спецэффектов, анимации и прочих элементов стало еще больше. И вдобавок к этому, в игрушке появилось больше новых локаций.
- Матрица в Стилпорте. По сюжету, игровой город стал виртуальной «матрицей», в которую поместили персонажей из оригинальной серии инопланетные оккупанты. Разработчики много взяли от оригинального фильма «Матрица»: попасть в виртуальный мир и выйти из него можно с помощью специальных порталов; обычные полицейские могут превратиться в инопланетян (привет, Агент Смит). Правда, градус абсурда тут значительно выше.
- Игровой процесс. Геймплей игры наконец-то перестал делать видимость «реалистичности». Теперь игровой персонаж обладает суперсилами, а механика боя стала намного динамичнее. Если вы привыкли отсиживаться за укрытием, отстреливая своих врагов, то тут придется действовать иначе. Или инопланетяне уничтожат вашего героя.
- Забавный сценарий. Вкратце можно рассказать так. Босса выбрали в президенты США. И спустя некоторое время появилась империя Дзынь, угроза из космоса, адепты которой уничтожили Землю, а всех «Святых» поместили в виртуальную копию Стилпорта…

Выполнить все текстовые миссии-головоломки
В игре есть восемь мини-головоломок, которые вам нужно найти, руководствуясь текстовыми загадками.

Шестая загадка спрятана в международном аэропорту Уэстли Каттера (Wesley Cutter International). Вам нужно найти здание обслуживания аэропорта и перейти через дорогу, к которой это здание прилегает. Ищите на восточной стороне.

Во время сюжетной миссии Zero Cool Зиньяк сообщит вам, что человечество обречено и заставит выбрать дверь. Это является ссылкой на фильм «Матрица: Перезагрузка», когда Нео разговаривает с Архитектором.

Version differencesedit
- Commander In Chief Edition includes the base game and Commander-In-Chief Pack which was earlier exclusive to this edition.
- All versions of the game are censored in Australia and cannot use the Rectifier DLC or play multiplayer with international copies of the game
- The GOG.com version removes most UI elements and all internal functions related to My Steelport service. It is not possible to connect this version to the fanmade My Steelport emulator. The «Character Gallery» option in Plastic Surgeon menu remains, but selecting it will hang the game if GOG Galaxy client is running in background.
- The Microsoft Store version is «Saints Row IV: Re-Elected» edition. This version has a unique feature that allows saving and restoring customized characters locally, but is incompatible with any mods.
