How to install Metamorph Mod
Each morph that you equip or apply with Metamorph Mod gives you its different appearance, size and health capacity. Except for those properties, each metamorphosis also has special abilities, attack and action.
To install this wonderful mod, you just have to follow the following steps that we will show you below:
- Make sure you first have the Minecraft Forge Mod file in any of these three versions: 1.12.2, 1.11.2 and 1.10.2.
- Then you must download the file of the Metamorph Mod in any of the three versions mentioned above, remember that they must be corresponding.
- Now you must click on the file already downloaded from Minecraft Forge Mod so you can start the installer.
- Copy and paste the file you have downloaded from the Metamorph Mod modification into the folder of your .minecraft / mods.
- If you have followed all these steps to the letter, you will be able to obtain the abilities and the appearance of any creature that you eliminate in the game.
Features of Metamorph Mod
In Metamorph Mod the abilities give special properties to the morphs. The chicken morph will fall slowly and you will not receive any damage from falling. While the Spider and CaveSpider morphs will be able to climb the walls. Bat morph can fly and has a clear night vision.
The attack is an effect that is applied to the entity that attacks. For example, if you hit any creature while in Morph CaveSpider, your attack will have the effect of a poison potion. If you hit a creature while in VillagerGolem morph, you will throw your opponent into the air.
The action is a special ability that is activated by the “action key” which is the “V” key by default. Examples: in Rabbit morph, you will jump high; in Creeper morph, you will explode like a vine, and so on.
The skills that have been verified are within the game code, but probably not yet functional. They are basically implemented. To become another creature, you must first acquire a morph. To acquire a morph, you have to kill a mob, then a ghost of this mob will appear, which is known as morph, and when you raise it, you will acquire one. Only vanilla mobs have their own morphs.
Once you have at least one morph, you can transform into it. Use the “” keys to advance through the list of morphs. And to become the one you select, just use the “enter” key.
You keep your forms even after death. In creativity, you can select any morph available through the “Morph Creative Menu” which you can open by pressing the “B” key in the game.

Metamorph 1.1
A big update of Metamorph mod. This update introduces third-party morph support, improved GUIs and public API. A lot of code was rewritten, and there close to no morphs which use custom models (as in the first version).

Борьба с метаморфами[]
Единственное средство против метаморфов — мощнейший артефакт «Лампа Забвения», гипнотизирующий их. Адаптивные защитные свойства организма метаморфа настолько высоки, что без «Лампы» его может оглушить, к примеру, усмиряющий поводок высшего класса в комбинации с ударными дозами дурман-травы (опасными даже для чёрной моряны) и сотрясением мозга, да и то уже после применения «Лампы». Простые заклинания и артефакты подчинения метаморф преодолевает, адаптируясь, за считанные секунды, хотя навские эскизы способны удерживать его продолжительное время.
По-видимому, наиболее надёжный способ убить метаморфа — сжечь его полностью. Все метаморфы в прошлом погибли на кострах Инквизиции, уничтожившей своё оружие за ненадобностью.
Механика[]
A nearly-filled meter. Note that all samples from the map area are collected and the combination is already using the highest rarity of each sample type.
Each map has a 10% chance to include a Metamorph encounter. The chance is not shared with Master nor Abyss, Blight, Breach and Legion, etc. In the encounter, certain monsters (and map boss) are marked with a green «arrow» on their bodies as well as marked on the mini-map, and the monster health and name bar have a green circle. Upon defeating these monsters, they drop organ samples which are automatically collected. With a full set of samples — Brain, Eye, Heart, Lung, and Liver — players can construct a Metamorph based on the combination they have used by spawning Tane Octavius and his Metamorph Vial using a button on the bottom right (PC default keybind: V). Tane spawns automatically once you’ve collected every organ in the zone.
Players can use any combination of a set of organs to create the Metamorph monster. Each organ determines the attacks the Metamorph uses, as well as the monster modifiers it has. Sometimes an organ will contain an additional item drop bonus. Moreover, a meter to the right fills based on sample rarity, which increases the monster’s overall stats and item drops. Organs from higher rarity monsters will give larger increases to this meter. If the meter is filled as well as using at least one map boss sample, the Metamorph will drop an itemized organ sample, named after the name of the map boss, which can be placed in player’s inventory. Note that in some case, even fully cleared the map, there are not enough rare and unique organ samples to fully filled the meter, due to external factor such as map rarity , map mod, map tier and pack size. Only one Metamorph boss can be constructed per instance, and only itemized organs can be transferred out of the zone instance.
Itemized samples can be used in the Metamorph Vial in Tane’s Laboratory. A full set of itemized organ can be used to construct a Metamorph there. The mods on the itemized organs indicate additional items the Metamorph will drop. Note that no more organ drop in the lab.

Each map has a 8% chance to include a Metamorph encounter, which is rolled independently from other chance-based encounters, such as Masters, Abyss, Blight, Breach, Delirium, Essence, Ritual, rogue exile, Legion, Smuggler’s Cache, Strongbox, The Sacred Grove, etc. In the encounter, certain monsters (and the map boss) are marked with a green «arrow» on their bodies as well as marked on the mini-map with a circular green icon, and the monster health and name bar have a similar green circle. Upon defeating these monsters, they drop organ samples which are automatically collected. With a full set of samples — Brain, Eye, Heart, Lung, and Liver — players can construct a Metamorph unique boss monster based on the combination they have used by spawning Tane Octavius and his Metamorph Vial using a button on the bottom right (PC default keybind: V). Tane spawns automatically once you’ve collected every organ in the zone.
Players can use any combination of the collected organs to create the Metamorph monster. Each monster is made up of 5 organs, and players must select one of each type before constructing the Metamorph monster. Each organ determines the attacks the Metamorph uses, as well as the monster modifiers it has. Sometimes an organ will contain an additional item drop bonus. Moreover, a meter to the right fills based on sample rarity, which increases the monster’s overall stats and item drops. Organs from higher rarity monsters will give larger increases to this meter. If the meter is filled as well as using at least one map boss sample (which have the same orange item color as unique items), the Metamorph will drop an itemized organ sample, named after the name of the map boss, which can be placed in player’s inventory. Note that in some cases, even in a fully cleared map, there are not enough rare and unique organ samples to fully fill the meter, due to external factors such as map rarity, map mods, map tier and pack size. Only one Metamorph boss can be constructed per a map instance (the exception being in the Valdo’s Rest region with the Repeated Experiment Atlas passive skill), and only the itemized organ(s) can be transferred out of the zone instance. Player can boost the drop of itemized organs by using Metamorph Scarab. Each specific Metamorph monster can only drop a single type of itemized organ (though it can drop more than one of that type due to atlas passives or scarabs), regardless of how many orange-colored organs are included in its construction.
The Metamorph monster will have a combination of attacks and abilities depending on the organs used (each organ notes one or more attacks/abilities it grants the monster). In addition, as the Metamorph is battled, it will summon a substantial number of minions to assist it, which can be lethal even on their own if the Metamorph is defeated before them.
Itemized samples can be used in the Metamorph Vial in Tane’s Laboratory. A full set of itemized organs can be used to construct a Metamorph there. The mods on the itemized organs indicate additional items the Metamorph will drop. Note that no more organs drop in the lab.

Сюда относятся первых четыре подопытных профессора Штерна и его помощница. Над ними проводились эксперименты со скрещиванием ДНК первородного, последняя стала из-за несчастного случая в лаборатории. Позже добавилась его дочь с двумя клонами
Андрей Мебиус — может генерировать электричество. Секретарь Эммануила Гордецкого и оперуполномоченный сотрудник корпорации «Экстрополис»
Тень — может телепортироватся сквозь тени. Убит Таисией.
Сладкий Яд — помощница Штерна ныне Сэнтери.
Холод — фотограф способный замораживать предмет. Помощник Штерна, ныне Сэнтери.
Ядвига Савицкая — может манипулировать огнем и чертить круги, как ведьмы. Помощник Владимира Штерна в пансионате «Хрустальный ручей» Погибла.
Истинные метаморфы
Из-за экологической катастрофы, которая произошла 15-16 лет назад по вине корпорации «Экстрополис», рожденные младенцы обладали измененным геном СД-80. Сюда относится большинство действующих персонажей, которые проявили свои способности во время шока: упали в бассейн с пауками или же в них ударила молния. Такое поколение напоминает персонажей супер-геройских комиксов, особенно своими историями проявления гена.
Алина Ланская / Арахна — может повелевать пауками. Лаборант отдела энтомологии и арахнологии в научно-исследовательском институте
Ольга Ожегова — может чувствовать присутствие метаморфов по их способностям и мыслям. Может передвигать предметы на расстоянии силой мысли. Читает мысли окружающих. Может создавать вокруг себя защитные барьеры. Может левитировать. Может создавать астральную проекцию. Погибла в жутком пожаре, который устроила самостоятельно, из-за желания убить старших Кривоносовых.
Ксения Воропаева — может поглощать и накапливать в себе электроэнергию, также, вызвать замыкание в электроприборах. Ходит на секцию по атлетике. Дочь главного прокурора — Павла Васильевича Воропаева. Напарник Бродяги. Третья в банде «Черная четверка». Погибла от рук Инги.
Антон Василевский — обладает магнетизмом, может передвигать металлические предметы и гнуть железо. Ходит на секцию по атлетике. Первый в банде «Черная четверка», ныне работает в отделе Департамента полиции в «перевертышах».
Светлана Романова / Нимфа — метаморф-вор, умеет повелевать растениями и адаптироваться под них.
Денис Воробьев — обладает супер-силой. Четвертый в банде «Черная четверка» и единственный кто добровольно занимался грабежами, воспитанник интерната «Хрустальный ручей». Был убит Ядвигой.
Руслан Той / Форкис — один из друзей Аркадия. До 4 книги был одним из Второстепенных героев, но после получение способностей стал играть главную роль. Был членом «Пентакль». Позже стал работать на Штерна (кстати по вине последнего погиб дед Форкиса). Его способность — Управлять водой. В конце последней книге вероятнее всего погиб, однако его труп так и не нашли (возможно унесло водой, а возможно он и выжил).
Василий Быков /Ампер — член банды «Пентакль», метаморф по электронике.
Яна Давыдова / Пестрая Лента — может изгибать свое тело и растягиваться как резинка.
Искусственные метаморфы
После исчезновения профессора Штерна, корпорация «Экстрополис» пыталась воспроизвести чудо-сыворотку. Многие эксперименты провалились, но те кто выжили стали третьим поколением метаморфов. Большинство из них представляют химеры так, как их ДНК скрестили с животным или растениями и черной магией

Strategy
Metamorphs can be spawned anywhere on the map using the UI button in the lower right. Using different strategies with placement can make defeating them easier.
- For characters that can hit enemies off screen with ranged skills, placing the metamorph in an open area will make it easier to hit them far away and get away.
- For characters that use melee hits, placing the metamorph in the smallest area you can find will prevent large amounts of enemies from hitting you at the same time.
- If the atlas has a watchstone in the maps region with a sextant modifier that says «Area has additional packs of monsters that convert» there will be traitorous totems on the map that give the player and minions auras. Spawning the metamorph near these totems will give the player and minions auras during the metamorph fight.
