Shift Codes

Enter into the game to unlock rare weapons and cosmetics. Shift codes come in two main varieties:

• Golden Keys, which open a special crate in the city of Sanctuary. That crate is guaranteed to serve up a purple rarity item. In a game with billions of randomly generated guns, it was a tantalizing way to skip the RNG and get some great weapons.
• Special skins: There are unique skins and heads for each Borderlands 2 character that can only be unlocked with Shift codes.

How do I use Borderlands 2 SHiFT codes?

There are a couple easy ways to redeem Borderlands Shift codes for Golden Keys and other in-game items.

1. Online: Go to http://Shift.GearboxSoftware.com and create a free account, or login using your Steam account. Once you link the Shift site to your Steam account, go to the Rewards tab and copy/paste a key to redeem it.

2. In-game: In Borderlands 2, go to Main Menu > Extras > Shift Code. Once you’re on that menu, you’ll see a list of previously redeemed Shift codes. Click the Shift Code button at that bottom of that window, then paste in the 25-digit Shift code. Done!

Where To Enter Shift Codes?:

• Step #1: You’ll need to register a SHiFT account at the http://shift.gearboxsoftware.com website, then fill out all the account details and sign in to your new SHiFT account.

• Step #2: Start the game, and from the Main Menu go to “Extras” and select “SHiFT Codes”. Then link your SHiFT account to your Xbox Live account (for Xbox 360 users), PSN account (for PS3 users) or Steam account (for PC, Mac & Linux users). Just follow the on-screen redemption instructions.

How Long Do Shift Codes Work?:

How to Retrieve Golden Keys In Borderlands Pre-Sequel

When you redeem Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Golden Keys Shift codes, they won’t be added directly to your character. Instead, they’d be safeguarded in the shift machine in Concordia. Hence to retrieve them, simply;

Head over to the SHiFT Machine in Concordia and click on SHiFT News followed by Repository. From here, you’ll see all the Golden Keys you have redeem so far. Go ahead and select as many as you want and they’ll be added to your inventory automatically.

Now head back and jump into the Badass Rank tab of your ECHO device and you’ll see the retrieved Golden Keys which can be used to open the mysterious chest in Concordia.

Первый и самый официальный из всех путей — это активация SHIFT-кодов. Доступна эта опция только для английской версии игры, то есть, если вы хотите воспользоваться этим способом, нужно будет скачать и установить англоязычный клиент. В главном меню вы увидите пункт «Extras», в который нужно зайти и зарегистрироваться, с обязательным подтверждением e-mail. Далее необходимо ввести, собственно, код, который можно найти в сети Интернет в свободном доступе.
Второй способ немного сложнее: основные манипуляции нужно производить с файлом «profile.bin», который располагается на компьютере в папке «Documents», а далее Borderlands 2\WillowGame\SaveData\76620231895272069 (цифры у каждого разные). Если у Вас есть золотые ключи, то просто скопируйте этот файл в удобное место и каждый раз, когда потратите их, открыв сундук, заменяйте файл «profile.bin» из папки с цифрами на скопированный. Инвентарь в рюкзаке сохранится, а количество ключей заменится первоначальным.
Если же вы уже истратили ключи, и у вас их нет и взять негде, то нужно сделать следующее. Сохраните копию всей «папки с цифрами» (в ней будет известный нам файл «profile.bin» и файлы сохранений (Save0001, Save0002, и т.д.)), а потом удалите все из этой папки. Зайдите в игру и создайте нового персонажа. После того, как получите ключ, выходите из игры и ищите в «папке с цифрами» уже созданный автоматически «profile.bin», хранящий заветный ключик. Теперь можно вернуть обратно свои файлы сохранений («profile.bin» пока не трогайте), и, когда зайдете в игру, 1 ключ будет у вас «в кармане». Копируйте-вставляйте файл-ключ столько раз, сколько будет необходимо

Важно! Если Вы хотите также не потерять умения, заработанные за токены — «монеты безбашенности» — после того, как удовлетворитесь количеством открытых сундуков, замените «profile.bin» первоначальным файлом и наслаждайтесь дальнейшей игрой.

Применив эти нехитрые правила, вы сможете получать золотые ключи в Borderlands 2 бесконечное количество раз. Но задумайтесь — не потеряет ли игра интерес, а вы чувство собственного достоинства, если ваш рюкзак будет забит нечестно заработанной экипировкой?

Как получить золотые ключи?

Первый золотой ключ для открывания сундука с лутом вам дадут при запуске кампании. Первый золотой сундук вы найдете примерно через 2 часа игры в Убежище. Также сундуки можно обнаружить Бесплодных землях, Конкордии и Убежище-3. Ключи советуем использовать на этапах игры, когда оружие и экипировка сильно отстают от уровня противников, а не при первой возможности.

Золотые ключи активируются в системе SHiFT. Для этого в игре нужно зайти в меню EXTRAS, зарегистрироваться в SHiFT и подтвердить электронную почту. Если вы уже были зарегистрированы, то можно использовать старый аккаунт. Welcome to the complete Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Shift Codes list. This guide will stay up-to-date to help you find the newest Shift Codes for Xbox 360, PS3, PC, Mac & Linux. As you may expect, the majority of this page will act as a Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Golden Key Codes list.

The below listed Shift Codes are promo codes that will unlock special items in-game.
After entering a Shift Code, you may receive: Custom Character Skins, Custom Character Heads, Special Mods (and other goodies like Loot), and often Golden Keys that open a special Gold Chest which in return can give you rare weapons and other powerful items.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Shift Codes

Where To Enter Shift Codes?:

• Step #1: You’ll need to register a SHiFT account at the http://shift.gearboxsoftware.com website, then fill out all the account details and sign in to your new SHiFT account.

• Step #2: Start the game, and from the Main Menu go to “Extras” and select “SHiFT Codes”. Then link your SHiFT account to your Xbox Live account (for Xbox 360 users), PSN account (for PS3 users) or Steam account (for PC, Mac & Linux users). Just follow the on-screen redemption instructions.

How Long Do Shift Codes Work?:

A) Shift Codes will expire after a set amount of time. Usually after one week (but it can also be after one day). We will indicate when it expires.

B) Shift Codes can also expire after a certain number of people have used them. Usually after 10,000 people (or more/less) used them.

Shift Code Tip:

Claim the Shift Codes on this page as soon as possible! Once you’ve redeemed a Shift Code, the items you received in exchange for it have no expiration date. So you get to keep everything you receive indefinitely. — However, if you wait too long, the Shift Code may no longer be valid. So if you don’t want to miss out on anything, check back on this page regularly to get new Shift Codes.

Note: Shift Codes from Borderlands 2 do NOT carry over to Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.
