Biography

Early life

Vaas was born in 1984 on the Rook Islands and from a young age, he was a member of the native Rakyat. He was particularly close to his sister Citra and mentions that the first time he killed was for her.

Meeting Hoyt Volker

Sometime before 2012, Vaas became addicted to drugs, brought to the islands by deranged slave and drug trafficker Hoyt Volker. Vaas eventually established contact with Volker who found potential in Vaas and promoted him to right-hand man. Vaas went on to become the leader of the Pirates, a faction consisting of pirates that came to the Rook Islands to rape, pillage, steal and murder.

Vaas and his men would help Volker with his business such as growing marijuana fields and kidnapping and selling native inhabitants of the island into slavery; as well as sow terror and injustice in the Rakyat and the islands that are rightfully theirs. Vaas would operate from a hidden fortress in the North Island from where he would oversee the deaths and destruction he caused on the natives and the Rakyat who were once considered his family.

• While visiting the promotional Blood Dragon website, entering the Konami Code (Up+Up+Down+Down+Left+Right+Left+Right+B+A) will change the mouse cursor into a targeting reticle, enabling for every component of the site be destroyed to reveal a picture of an Omega Force soldier.
• The island used in the game is the Thruston Town section of the South Island in Far Cry 3 only altered to match Blood Dragon’s post-apocalyptic environment.

Background

As their name implies, they are the military forces of Yara and are said to consist of around 300,000 members, both men and women can serve in the forces and both genders are subjected to mandatory conscription; One of those conscripts was Dani. They are serving under the leadership of President Antón Castillo and their very existence is crucial for his grip on Yara. Therefore, the Libertad started a guerilla war against them in order to overthrow Castillo. They have shown incredibly abusive behaviors toward people in Yara who oppose Castillo’s regime. Since their country has military conscription, many Yarans only joined because of the law, despite not having any loyalty to Castillo regime, hence the numerous FND veterans and double agents among Libertad ranks.

After the fall of Castillo regime, their remnants refuse to surrender however, continue abusing civilians and fighting against Libertad across Yara. Their remnants often form insurgencies and seizing back control of certain unstable areas. If Dani takes the boat to leave Yara and live in the US, it’s unknown what would happen to the FND, although the FND special forces would still be active 3 months after Dani’s departure.

Trivia

• The FAMAS F1 in fact uses a proprietary 25-round magazine which are not compatible with STANAG magazines, while in reality the newer FAMAS G2 is compatible with STANAG magazines. 
• Like with the LMGs and the Z93, the F1 has a bipod visible near the carrying handle, but it cannot be used.
• The survival guide jokes that because this rifle is French, it «only works when it feels like it.». This is a double entendre joke: Based on the French stereotype for snobbishness and disdain of labour, and the FAMAS reputation for regularly overheating and jamming.
• The FAMAS Infanterie is the actual type of weapon used in the game but without the Handguard (the FAMAS Infanterie was the only FAMAS with an accessory/attachment rail).
• The real life version of this rifle has a full auto mode as well as burst fire and semi auto settings, unlike the game version which can only fire in 3 shot burst mode.

Compared to the full-length variant, the 1887-T has an extra point in Handling, trading off for the point of accuracy the 1887 has over it. Otherwise, it is statistically identical; both having 7/10 Damage, 4/10 Accuracy, and 2/10 Rate of Fire.

The Jackal

The Jackal is a notorious arms dealer that has been selling his weapons to many countries in Africa. He also has a history of being in the United States Navy, which is what most likely gives him his experience. The player has to locate him and assassinate him.

Reuben Oluwagembi

Reuben Oluwagembi is a freelance journalist reporting from Port Selao, covering the ongoing civil war and the escalating violence throughout the country. Reuben has covered ‘war news’ from all over Africa.

Addi Mbantuwe

Addi Mbantuwe is the Leader of the UFLL. He is a former labor union chief and opposition leader. Mbantuwe is a ruthless man, commanding an army of rebels and mercenaries from the social club in Port Selao.

Oliver Tambossa

Oliver Tambossa is the leader of the APR, Chief of Staff of the former government. He collected the remnants of the collapsed government’s army to stand against the UFLL.

Walton Purefoy

Walton Purefoy is a Lieutenant in the APR. A former US Specops soldier, now a soldier of fortune. He does not suffer fool but rewards good work and loyalty. Usually commands out of the APR HQ in Port Saleo. He is voiced in English by Actor Jeff Teravainen.

Leon Gakumba

Doctor Leonid Gakumba is one of the leaders of the UFLL in the Northern Territory in Act 1. The player will encounter him more than once, at the UFLL HQ in Pala, where the player will take one main faction missions for varying amounts of diamonds.

Prosper Kouassi

Prosper Kouassi is the leader of the APR in the Northern Territory in Act 1. He is located at the APR HQ in Pala, where the player can receive faction missions for varying amounts of diamonds.

Технически Новый Рассвет вообще не отличается от основной игры. Даже округ можно узнать, особенно, если вы занимались исследованием территории. Некоторые места, правда, не доступны. Map Editor

Far Cry 2 includes a very powerful and easy-to-use map editor. It allows you to mold the landscape, making your own unique hills, mountains, lakes, etc. Also, there are several ‘starter’ maps that can give you a map to ‘start’ with and work with. Like previous map editors, you are given a wide array of buildings, obstacles, and other forms of cover to use. Because of the inclusion of pre-loaded weapons, you are not able to place guns in the maps, except for mounted weapons. There are also several other features, like water levels, that allow you to change the map to your liking. Like the previous map editor, maps can be saved online and shared with the Far Cry 2 community.

• Despite the Disciples veneration of Yetis, they still actively try to kill Yetis just like any other predator they encounter in the wild instead of fleeing or hiding, likely because the Elixir made them aggressive and bloodthirsty to the point of not sparing those whom they venerate.
• If Ajay Ghale fights for the Golden Path, then the Disciples become severely weakened and their remnants wandering in the wilderness. If Ajay Ghale stays with Pagan Min right at the start, the fate of the Disciples is unknown. However, since Yuma Lau would be alive in this case, and given Pagan Min regime harsh treatment of Kyrat native religions, eventually they would confront the cult and clashes would be inevitable. Regardless of what Ajay does, the Golden Path still search for the Relic, Amita disgust toward religion would also result in clashes and Sabal fanatical stance would result in sectarian violence considering how his faith heavily vilified Yalung.

Plot

The game is set in a fictional 2007, where the world is suffering the aftermath of a nuclear war between the United States and Russia. Rex is an American cybernetic super-soldier. He and another American cyber-soldier named Spider travel to an Unnamed Island to investigate Colonel Sloan, an elite agent who has gone rogue. Upon confronting Sloan, he reveals his treachery, kills Spider, and knocks out Rex.

Rex is awoken by Sloan’s Canadian assistant, Dr. Darling, who after being disillusioned with the colonel’s goals, decides to betray Sloan. Rex teams up with Dr. Darling to overthrow Sloan’s plan to revert the world to a prehistoric-like state with his rockets, armed with the blood of the «Blood Dragons» that roam the island.

After liberating bases, saving scientists, and killing animals, Rex fights Sloan’s assistant Dr. Carlyle, who has used the blood of Blood Dragons to turn humans into zombie-like creatures called «the running dead». After Rex fights Dr. Carlyle’s cyber soldiers and blood dragons, Dr. Carlyle is killed by his own AI, who had been mistreated and acted out of revenge.

Rex then goes into a parallel dimension, where he fights legions of Colonel Sloan’s running dead. Upon defeating them and «testing his might,» Rex gets the Killstar, an arm-mounted laser gun that gives Rex the power necessary to defeat Sloan, at the cost of his own vitality. Following a training montage, Rex and Dr. Darling have sex, culminating in Darling’s abduction the next morning. Rex then makes an assault on Sloan’s base with the assistance of the Killstar and later, a Titanium Plated, domesticated Cyber-Blood Dragon, the Battle Dragon.

Rex confronts Sloan. However, because Sloan programmed Rex, he prevents Rex from attacking him. However, Dr. Darling’s and Spider’s memories remind Rex of his humanity despite his cybernetic nature. With renewed strength, Rex impales Sloan with his robotic hand and fires the Killstar, killing Sloan. Dr. Darling appears immediately after, informing Rex of his success in stopping Sloan’s plans, then proceeds to destroy the base. They embrace while looking on at the destruction, only for Darling to focus on the camera with a sinister gaze.

Tips and Uses

• While the 3-burst limit makes it somewhat slower firing when not using fast triggering, the F1 accuracy and its relative firepower makes it a very good all-around weapon mid-game until you can buy the ACE, especially when combined with extended magazine and a scope.
• Keep in mind that the weapon has a slow reload speed since the player clinks the magazine around on the outside of the weapons magazine port before inserting it correctly, except if you have the Nimble Fingers skill, at which time it reloads VERY fast, but by then better assault rifles are available.
• With a suppressor you can use it for mid-range silent assaults, when this style of combat is your preferred way.
• The weapon pulls up a little during the 3 bursts, use this to your advantage (against pirates) by aiming high in the chest/ low in the neck. If your aim is too low you shoot 3 in the chest (for a 10 xp kill) if your aim is too high the first hit is a headshot. If your shot is spot on your 2nd or 3th is a headshot. This maximizes headshots (which garners more XP) and means you never fail to kill (as you sometimes do if you aim straight for the head).
• Keep in mind that the F1 fires in 3-shoot bursts, so that this weapon should be used for mid-range combat, and if the target is close to player (or NPCs try to ambush the player) this weapon should not be used.

Far Cry Primal — 2016 год

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon[править]

Осложняет ситуацию то, что на острове обитают кровавые драконы, стреляющие лазером из глаз. Аддон запомнился игрокам за прекрасную ретро-атмосферу. Так, всё изображение было стилизовано под качество VHS-кассеты, а особенно яркие спецэффекты под дефекты затёртой плёнки. При этом, кат-сцены выполнены в виде мультфильмов 1980-х г., со всем сопутствующим пафосом и условностями. Ещё одной яркой особенностью стал юмор. Одно только обучение, с подсказками в духе: «чтобы осмотреться, поверните голову», или «кнопки перемещения перемещают вас в разные места» чего стоит.

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon — 2013 год

• This marks the first time in the series that many of the characters and setting from the previous game(s) will appear in another game (if not counting Hurk and Willis, who appear in most of the series’ missions and DLC).
• This marks the first Far Cry game to be set in a wild post-apocalyptic world after the events of Far Cry 5 during the in Hope County.
• This is the second Far Cry game to feature weapon crafting.
• This is the first «modern time» Far Cry game to not feature Hand Grenades.
• This is the first Far Cry game in which all main antagonists are female. Far Cry Primal’s Batari shared the role with Ull, a man.
• Unlike previous Far Cry games, the player can travel to multiple locations outside the main map.
• Far Cry New Dawn takes place around the year 2035 and is set in the present of the timeframe in the series, taking place after Far Cry 5 which is set in the year 2018.
• Some of the vegetation is reused from Far Cry Primal.
• Some other Far Cry Primal features reappear too, such as the looting backpacks hanging in trees, which you can either shoot or punch down to the ground.
